Despite
the many visits to HK, I've never exactly done touristy things. So far
my visit is only to eat, shop and go for a cruise.
My
favourite Lam Fung is Patricia and not Raymond???? WHYYYYYY... I have
no idea who's Patricia... Just took it for the sake of Lam Fung!
This
place is the Avenue of Stars.. You'll get like the pretty view of HK
and the little stars on the floor. It kind of reminds me of Hollywood...
Except this is the HK version.
Jackie Chan's palm is damn huge!
Trying to be the female version of Bruce Lee. Ki siao!
The view looks much better in reality, but a little foggy from the pictures. No idea why...
I will never be a director...
Hahahaha the pig is so damn cute!! So cute I have to dig the nose!
Finally, a picture of us! It's so difficult to take photos together because we don't have a tripod...
I have no idea where this place is, but I think I've seen it in TVB! Hahah. So nice!
These
dried stuff are very cheap in HK. I bought dried scallops back to
Malaysia, really cheap. The guy in the background is so cute. Have to
pose haha! They gave us a small discount, so nice of them! The shop is
located somewhere in Yau Ma Tei if I remember correctly...
Off for some curry fish balls!!! It's like the HK trademark, a must eat if you're there!!
It's not cheap ok... Food in HK is considered quite expensive! If I remember corrected it costs about 8-10 HKD for a stick!
They have other stuff as well but I didn't try..
That's because I had like 4-5 sticks of curry fishballs!!! Too awesome
I got so upset when one of the balls fell off from the stick! :(
The balls were so damn spicy I had to get a drink..
We ended up in this dessert shop which serves awesome mango dessert!
Just
to find out that the shop is actaully Hui Lau Shan!!!! So I've been to
Hui Lau Shan even before they opened branches in Malaysia. Such
coincidence.
I've figured that I should get MORE after dessert!! Which I did... Cannot get enough of it!
Because the balls are so damn spicy I got myself free "Lipstick"!
Before we headed back to Disneyland
Hotel, we stopped by the last shop for quick snack. I really have no
idea what this is.. It's like radish cake on the outer layer and fish
cake insde. These were pan fried if I'm not wrong which made the upper
layer slightly crispy. Oh dear HK is the best place for snacks really!!!
That is it for 3 days in HK! I wish I can go back again someday :) I still haven't get to go to the bars in Lan Kwai Fong! Jerine ... we should go again!!! Gosh there are too many places to go ^_^

The last day in HK!
We only had a grace period of 3 days so we had to spend our time wisely! Like camwhoring in the pretty Disneyland themed hotel :O
That famous Hollywood sign... in HK. So
J's hair grew so much longer already... This is how behind time I am :(
Those super old school cars. I wonder if it's drivable... Probably not.
It was supposed to be the "Welcome to my Hotel" pose but it looked more like some kind of goodbye greeting
And J? Instead of welcoming people it seems she's doing "I'm the boss.... Now.. Bow!"
Oh those precious times. That's it for Disney! I need to get out of the place for more of the real side of HK!!! We then headed down town just to grab curry fishballs!!!! :D:D

Day 2 in Disneyland. We saw the scarfs for sale at the entrance so we quickly got ourselves one. This time we're smarter already. Cannot underestimate the weather really.
It was just so unfortunate that the day we arrived in HK was the coldest day of the year...
Defying gravity!
I really don't have much to say about Disneyland. Apart from the cute characters and the limited amount of rides they have. Due to my fear in thrill rides, that leaves me with very few options already. Dahlah Disneyland in HK is so small.. Oh well maybe I need to pump my balls.
After the long day in Disneyland with my practically doing almost thing (besides taking shitloads of photos), it's dinner time!!
The setting is for couples!!! It's just not very family oriented kind. It's a little too romantic for friends to go..
Food was OK but nothing special really. I would rather have Chinese food actually.
Which was why we had our dinner very quickly so we could go down town. Our initial plan was to go to Lan Kwai Fong...
However, due to time constraint, we ended up in erm, Jordan Road I think? I only remember we kept walking aimlessly thinking what to do. If we go to LKF we'll probably have to pay a bunch to get back into Disney Hotel plus we had to wake up early the next day so... too bad.
But it's OK! At least we drank a pint of Hoegarden and da bin lou for supper!
I can't even remember which shop was this. Hotpot restaurants are EVERYWHERE in HK!
It's just another small shop located in one of the streets. Who cares what street it is..
I'll have to admit that their food prices are so damn expensive!! Well I'm comparing it to KL's food prices (which I know I shouldn't). I think we paid about 200HKD for two person just for 2 pints of beer, 2 choices of meat and a plate of vege. Well good thing food was OK, apart from soup being too oily.
This is another MUST do in HK. Hot pot!
Back to Disney Hotel... Trains specially for Disney. How cute is that :O
So this sums up Day 2 in HK. ^_^

So we had breakfast at the hotel's cafe... The theme of this cafe is the Enchanted Garden. It felt like I was entering some magical garden to see pixies haha.
Mickey Mouse pancakes and waffles... So cute I didn't want to eat it!! But I ended up eating despite the cutesy haha. Afterall, they will refill when it's gone.
The entrance of the cafe... It's a short corridor with pretty garden decorations... There's a mini fountain too. How I wish they have something like that in the UK! Maybe there is.. It's like the perfect place for afternoon tea! Pretty decos ^^
There were a few cartoon characters that came through.. Us and Goofy!
Daisy Duck!!!
For some reason those cartoon characters who were scheduled to walk around the cafe were not that friendly. I remember it was this Mickey who was absolutely horrible. I mean, you send these characters out so that people could snap photos and there you go, when we wanted to he literally walked off. Well I managed to get one for myself but Jerine couldn't because they refused to. Something like "time is up I'm leaving now". Wow yup as if it'll take 24 hours of your time to take one photo. We waited till he came to our area and that happened.Tainting my favourite character's image. Hmph.
We went to the garden after. There's this really huge garden area with a mini maze for kids.
Haha it's really for the kids. We can see the exit!! *Cheat
Towards the end of the maze there's this really nice view of the hotel. It's just super nice like some princess castle..
"Welcome to my castle"
As we walked further down, there's a mini gazebo in this little garden. There's this hugeass love arch! So pretty! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The view of the garden from the hotel stairs. Felt like I just stepped into the fairy tale stories I've read when I was a kid ^_^
The downside are probably the people. It's the culture perhaps? Those people are so loud... Since this is the nearest Disneyland from Mainland China, it's natural to attract loads of tourists from China. I'm not condemning them, it's just that when they are in a group they are so loud and annoying... And because they are in a big group they think that entire compound belongs to them. I think there's no such thing as consideration in them. I just avoid walking into groups but unfortunately they are everywhere... The most disgusting scene was when people spat while walking. Oh my GOD.
Nevertheless it's not going to change the fact that Disneyland is beautiful!!! ;)
