the final week
forget about the previous post. i'd rather face macarons than that stupid woman. so anyway macarons in melbourne are something that i'm gonna miss a lot when i go back home. levain's macarons ain't as good as melbourne's. :D
the sugar level is about right. but i believe eating that in a long term will cause diabetic Q___Q! so yea, good thing i'm moving back otherwise... D:
i really wanna be back home already. i think it has been way too long since i left home. okay we don't count the holidays HAHA. i have not celebrated their(mom/dad/bro) birthday for 3 years. okay the sister is lucky that her birthday is always during my holidays back in kl, and my birthday too. huehuehue. getting a PR here is.. no good. i don't wanna celebrate days without family. like, cny, birthdays, or any other significant days. not to mention there are a lot more things to be considered. ah.. i just don't want to think about it anymore. of course malaysia isn't the best place to live, everybody knows how corrupted it is. then again, minus the corruption, our"raja-di-malaysia", horrible illegal immigrants, everything sounds good. like... asam laksa, curry fishballs, hokkien mee, pork noodle, woah.. saliva dripping out already :D
i went out to donate my clothes today. like, 5 huge papers bags of clothes, heels, boots, bags. things that i hardly even use anymore.. most of them are old stuff. they are old, but still usable. no point for me to ship them back, these things are not worth the price to ship back.. so donating them is an option. i think they weigh about 10kgs i swear. i donated to the salvation army. when i reached the front door, there was no help at all. nobody offered help and when i said these are for donation, they said put it at the back. i asked if i could put it at the entrance (p/s: i was practically panting). they answered no. you need to put it at the back. there were about 3-4 staffs and NONE of them helped out.
WAHLAO. people donate things also don't want to give us a hand. you think it is a must to donate to you all is it? if i have a car i would have driven off and find some other charity houses that are worth my time. so unappreciative!!!! i should've just dumped everything down the rubbish chute if i know these people are so unappreciative. i need to walk to the tram top (10-15 minutes) and switch trams too. so bloody time consuming. you think i owe you all is it?
now i'm down with muscle pain - left and right arm, back pain also. grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!! so much for being nice to donate things that are still usable. last but not least, do not ever donate to the salvation army. not unless they are friendly and helpful. at least avoid the one at nicholson street, carlton. terribly upset with their unfriendliness. *shakes head*
ok whatever! will be gone till i'm done with friday's paper. *disappears*

our last dinner together
jul, rach, jer and i had dinner at zanmai. it will be my last zanmai session for this holiday.
then off the snowflakes again! this time i tried the hot version of the bestseller, but it's not as good as the cold one.
time flies.. i'm leaving next tuesday! :(

pudding hangus
jerine made caramel pudding for the potluck party last week. so nice that i tried to make myself and i never thought that it will fail THAT bad!!!
i followed the instructions and the last thing was to let it chill in the fridge. i put in the fridge for 24 hours and it's still watery! what the heck right?
fine. since it's already wasted, might as well re-boil it and chill it again, see if it's works. so i let it boil and went back to my computer.... sekali i forgot it has milk and i can't boil it for too long....
ok so i let it chill and totally forgot about it again.. sekali when i see the pot again, it finally hardened up like what a pudding should look like.
sadly, it looked like pudding plus dead flies in it.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA FMRL!!!!!
i'm going to buy the mix and try again tomorrow. or day after. i don't believe i can't make this pudding work!!!!

boost!!
i've been addicted to boost ever since i drank my very first cup of boost!! i buy a cup of boost every thursday for the 3 hours security lecture to keep myself awake. finally, they have something that i can buy to keep! reusable mug! i'm so eco-friendly can. haha!
see, they even have a small hole to put the straw in. me lurves the thermal mug!! :)

random thoughts
- i am so demotivated to blog, so lazy to update, so lazy to upload pictures. it is probably because i have been occupied with loads of activities lately, actually not that much, but at least i feel i don't have that much amount of free time left in kl.. since i'm leaving real soon, like, 9 days from now.
- most of the pictures are already on facebook, pointless to post it here again, but those who doesn't have a facebook account won't be able to enjoy the pictures yet.. i will update as soon as i get my laptop fixed, in australia. something is wrong, blue screen of death averagely once a day and i do not know what is causing the problem. reformatting sucks, just like i have to remove everything from my room and then replace them back, nicely and neatly. my computer is just as messy as my room, unorganized i would say. having multiple unused folders, rubbish shortcuts, unused programs, duplicate pictures lying everywhere, and it just goes on and on. i'm just like that, clean when i need to or when i feel like there is a need to.
- i bought my first ever pair of nine west. i bought burberry's miniature perfume - i'm a huge fan of miniature perfumes. i bought a necklace and a mini thomas sabo charm club hook to hook my newly bought heel charm and the charm jerine bought for me for my birthday. speaking of my birthday present, i just received another birthday present can-you-imagine-that. from my bestie carl!!! so nice of him. he bought me a keychain with a HUGEASS "Y" hanging to it. such a happy girl i am, i know that.
- i went for manicure before i went off to macau. i wanted chinese new year to be the theme for my nail art, but it turned out that i picked black as the base instead of red - which is not very much of what i asked for.. so contradicting, black is more like doom's day. flowers didn't even turn out to be the ones i expected it to be.. then somebody asked why i didn't choose valentines theme instead. FML! i totally forgotten about valentines. let's just say that i don't remember that valentines existed anymore. is that a sign of me growing old? damn it!
- updates will slow down a lot, go check em' on facebook if you really want to kill your curiosity.. i'll be updating more often when i go back to melbourne.. or if my mood to blog is back in a couple of days or something.. all i know is i'm so blardy tired that i need more rest than i ever do.
- i'm having a bad throat right now and i don't think it'll recover before cny. being sick during festive season sucks. yeah suck big time. anyone knows how to cure my bad bad throat before the clock ticks 12am? not many hours left from now. you probably won't know. ;'(
- it was supposed to be a short update but i went on and on and on like an old woman nagging non stop, so i shall stop right here and bid goodbye. but before i leave, i'd like to wish you all HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! wish all you good luck and good health, win more money and collect more angpaos/red packets, and don't forget to give me angpao, thanks in advance! :)

a short update
i'm currently stuck in helsinki airport, waiting for my flight to rovaniemi. today's all about travelling. honestly speaking, travelling is a very tired thing to do. i enjoy shopping and visiting places, but then again, travelling is really boring. i've already gone on the plane for so many times, not that i am complaining, but imagine, going on almost 10 flights in 2 weeks, switching from one place to another.

we were supposed to take british airways from munich to london, but the flight was cancelled due to the bad weather. thank goodness, we switched to lufthansa and manage to get new seats. otherwise the hotel will charge us, play tickets wasted and we will be stranded in munich airport.
i'll update once i'm done sorting and editing the photos. x__x

new toy!
remember how i kept going on and on about getting a tablet but never made an effort to get out of the house to buy? now, thanks to ebay, i can get it without leaving my house! after comparing the prices here and there, i've decided to get a brand new wacom touch. i am no designer, not anywhere near one, nor any talent to be one, but then again, it's a new toy, might be useful next year? i'm gonna fill up the elective slots with something to do with design. yay! :]

sad little green thing
i have been craving for some ping pei mooncake for quite some time already (and i'm still craving for real, original ping peis). i have to admit that the ping peis i came across here in melbourne are awfully weird. they come in strawberry flavour as well. makes no sense, green and pink?! anyways, i finally found something that i like, green tea.
but it turned out to be a lousy one, it sucks! stupid green tea ping pei. lesson learnt. never buy an unusual mooncake anymore =_=. these two small green thing costs 9.90 aud. wasted my money. i miss my ping pei. how to buy tasty ping pei without having to wait until mid autumn festival leh? *shakes head*

off to ying thai for dinner. gosh, i've already lost count of how many times of ying thai in a month. i'm going to stop going to ying thai. i will!
mom ordered the fried rice for the two kids. tastes good, worth ordering.
but then again, the food suits me only, not them.. i *think* so la.

off to safeway, again =_+" mom bought quite a few chemicals, which are almost unknown to me. never heard of, never used them, never bother to find out. sorry i hardly clean, pardon me. =_=
mom brought a thermal cooker all the way from malaysia. it's something new to me, and i seriously find it amazing. all i need to do is, throw all the stuff into the metal container, cook it (on the stove) for 10 minutes, lift it and place it back into the thermal. open it again a few hours later. taa-dah! food is ready. soup or tong shui also works. i'm going to try it myself too. good for lazy people like me. finding the easiest way to settle my stomach. gg.

visit melbourne part 1
mom, dad, sis, bro and cousin came all the way to melbourne for a few days..
brought them out for korean dinner, usual place

they went around melbourne, but i did not join them. only brought them out for food. :D
apparently the food quality is only -ok- to them..
but then again, waddya expect when you're in australia. ;(
the choices of food over here is much wider compared to some other states in aus. asian food is everywhere in melbourne, well, cbd at least. and boxhill if you're willing to travel.
we walked for a bit after dinner. more pictures later.
on a side note : beyonce cancelled her concert, again! malaysia i mean, due to the stupid rules that our smart whoever who set them up. no jumping, no kissing, no shouting, no hugging, performer, in this case, beyonce, must be covered from chest to knees, bla bla, go ahead with the stupid rules. so what if she wears her usual stuff? even if you don't see them during concert, there is something called google and youtube. then you can see even without beyonce performing in malaysia. lame rules, LAME! yes this message is to you all protesters as well. use your brains before protesting la. no wonder you people never succeed, cause your job is only to protest, and you don't put much of your effort in other things to improve yourself and your lifestyle. stupid. like seriously. thanks to you all, she's performing in indonesia instead!! realize how dumb you are right now? they get all the good concerts, not us anymore! hoorah.
