Milano

I did not even realise this post sat here for ages now.. Been on hiatus for too long as I've been busy focusing on the rest of my channels!

In a span of 2 years, I've visited this place 3 or 4 times was it?

The Duomo area is probably the most happening area...

The area is just beautiful whether it's day or night...

Milano Centrale.

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

I swear the top of this totally reminded me of Melbourne Central's top.

Not your regular pumps. It's made out of chocolate! Get them at Cacao Lab, La Rinascente.

We dined by one of their restaurants in La Rinascente facing the side of the Duomo. It was absolutely wonderful - if I do find the pictures I'll definitely share it here.

I may have lost most of the Milan food photos, but you can find some of it here.

Pisa

There are a few buildings around Pisa Tower. I've never done any research prior to the visit, hence I had no clue at all.

The Pisa Cathedral and Pisa Baptistry next to the Pisa Tower.

The odd looking Torre de Pisa.

It really makes me wonder if it would actually topple some day...

That mandatory kiss/fingering tower/kicking tower/just do something to the tower shot.

The Pisa Baptistry.

Interior of the Pisa Cathedral.

It is also known as Duomo di Pisa.

When people mention "Duomo", you'll know that it means Church. It's not some bizarre Cantonese/Mandarin dialect..

I did not put a night in Pisa, just a quick pit stop for the Leaning Tower of Pisa. There are too many other prettier places to visit, especially those with lesser tourists. Even the Italian Riviera is getting tad bit crowded during peak times of the year.

Vienna

Some pictures I've snapped of Vienna quite some time back. I don't remember the name of those buildings but boy, they are just too pretty! Though, I got quite tired (physically) towards the end of the trip as most buildings look pretty much alike. Sorry it sounded slightly offensive, as I'm not a creative/architectural person.

Don't you just want to look at these buildings?! Don't forget to grab a nice piece from the home of Swarovski :)

Copenhagen

Copenhagen for two nights (more like just one full day) just to look at the buildings. I know nothing about designs but these are just amazing. I've just been walking around, seeing some old and new (really fancy ones) buildings.

Copenhagen city hall at night. I think it's worth a stop, many people are just lingering around doing nothing at the square, me being one!

So cool to see my artwork on that building! Just some event going on which allows public to just play around with it for free :)

Someone else's artwork!

Copenhagen's famous Nyhavn. which stands for New Harbour. But trust me, do NOT dine here. It's overly priced.. Well Copenhagen's food is not cheap to begin with... But you'd rather pay the same price and dine elsewhere. It's just that place for tourists. I have no idea where for good food since it was only a short stop in Copenhagen itself.

It's nice to just stroll down the area for a walk... So picturesque. Tourists from all over flock down to this area just for pictures...

We did so much walking I've almost died.

The library was one of the highlights. It is one of those places I wouldn't mind staying for hours to revise! I shall not spoil it by posting pictures... There are a couple of floors to go to if you're really interested.

And it's by the river! Just that perfect spot for a book during summer :)

Overall, it is amazing for first timers, but I don't think I'll be back. Apart from beautiful buildings, there's nothing really worth for a second visit. Don't get me wrong.. I don't hate the place, it is beautiful, just no wow factor to come back again.

Athens

Being that other tourist: Must visit the great Acropolis.

Being that local: Getting around by public transport. It's just that part of town being ancient and still beautiful. Other that that it's not as pretty, just another town!

Only one day in Athens, just to visit the Acropolis. Also visited the market area near Acropolis but nothing worth mentioning. Just heaps of tourists and plenty of souvenir shops. Note from my Greek friend (thanks Bris!), Athens is apparently very dangerous. I'm not too sure if he's using KL as a benchmark or London :D

P/S: The last time I went to The Acropolis, I paid nothing. Free of charge for students with a valid EU student card, half off for the rest of the world. Remember to bring your student card!!

Italian Riviera; Camogli

There are many small towns along the Italian Riviera, Camogli is just one of it. We have decided to stop by as it's on the way to Cinque Terre.

Focaccia is widely available in this region - you'd see this almost every corner of the street.

These towns are just beautiful with different variations of colourful and old buildings...

What a perfect spot for Summer...

Because it's the region's speciality, we have to try! Well it's not our first time, but because it's a famous thing so we have to try. It's very crispy dough and it's quite oily too. I can have it plain - it's just that good! That crunchy like feeling. Ahhhhh.... And a glass of sparkling wine.

So full of energy after all those focaccia!

Me travel buddy! xxx

We could definitely sit here all day!

Trust me even the sea is worth snapping. Look at those colours!

I really love Summer in Europe where people would get out of their huts. For the love of sun!

One morning in Camogli is more than enough - Off to Cinque Terre we go! xxxx
