it was a sunday afternoon where i suddenly felt like eating dimsum, that very instance. but i was already 4pm, and i haven't had anything for lunch.
i google-d and called a few restaurants to make sure they still have dimsum before heading to the place. eventually i found yum cha cafe. it's located at the corner of little bourke and exhibition street.
so cute that i went on humming 'i'm a little teapot, short and stout...'. the couple sitting next to us were STARING at our table the whole time. must be my fault. ;_;
everytime i tell mommy and daddy that i'm going out to yumcha, they'll say "the tea outside nicer is it?!"
sometimes they'll say, "i make for you la!! house no tea to drink meh?", just to make me stay at home. but you know me, i'll end up going out also.
and not forgetting roti beckham, roti hawaii, roti whatever you wanna name it..
this lo bak gou (carrot cake) is not much of a difference with the ones from pasar malam, except for the price. $.$
the very very sad mangoloh! frozen ice mango. and the whole white stuff is SAGO! what the hell, eat sago until i wanna vomit!
aih, what a failure. don't feel like eating anymore mangoloh in aus. i'm so going back to malaysia to eat mangoloh. sobs. still, pasar malam ones are the best. ><"
the guys went to es teler at swanston street (next to don don, i think?) to tapau mee goreng. the dimsum didn't do a good job. they want something more than just yumcha. dimsum is like light food to them. :(
their mee goreng is quite mamak style. not bad ah! mee goreng seafood is guuuuuuud. yums! i'm quite curious actually. what the hell is "TEK-TEK"?Labels: australia, food, melbourne, yumcha sessions
