february's love part 2
the girls were supposed to meet up for lunch, to lou sang. somehow things didn't turn out that well, so only 3 of us went for dinner.
we had many initial plans, like lunch at zanmai, dinner at sakae pavilion blah blah, but none of it worked out. we ended up at rakuzen, chulan square..
too bad rakuzen no "sang" for us to "lou"! ;(
so we just had a normal dinner~
we shared a sashimi salad. then we realized, we can lou salad!! great alternative huh?
lou salad! btw, the salad was really good. somehow, all 3 of us had mild stomach ache after dinner. we suspected it was the salad cause that was the only thing that all 3 of us ate... damn! nice food, yet "dirty"?
after that we dropped by at johnson's house for the pool party. we went there for a while and left, so no pictures there...
after that, gamble session again. then the usual yumcha session.. just that the venue is different this time. A&W! one very expensive yumcha session lor! thank you winston!
me hearts coney dog! i remember daddy introduced this to me when i was a kid. should buy for lionel also. i can imagine how excited if he gets to eat coney dog~
one table can't fit everyone.. need at least 4!!

dinner with family on sunday. parents came back from korea on that night itself.. we were supposed to go to overseas restaurant at imbi but because it was way too packed, so we went to soo kee instead..
my favourite sang har mien~ i think they have the best sang har mein lor! i've already tried soooo many sang har mein, none of it beats this one. trust me! try it yourself and you'll get what i mean :)
the next day we had lunch at taylors lakeside campus..
we were invited by the miss manager of the day... chongsusu!
we had indian food.. looks really weird because i've never really had any fine dining in indian style before.. go mamak better rite XD

indian dessert.. i think the appetizer was alright. main still okay. but the dessert was horrible!! it's not ice cream by the way. it's not cold, not hot either. it's like.. mash potato with some really sweet cream? i don't know what is it exactly, but it just tastes weird! sorry la, chongsusu. hahahaha.

look at her face man!! she kind of hated indian food from start. hahahahahahaha
after that we went to sushi zanmai at pyramid.. AGAIN! but with saumei..~
lousang at zanmai~ very uniquely japanese style lou sang.. they added my favourite chuka kurage!

of course we ordered other food as well.. this time i tried tamago mentai! didn't know it tasted so good! salmon mentai tastes good too!! :)
after zanmai, i dropped by at mentari to pass some stuff to jerine. then i had to go back to do my last minute packing before heading to the airport.
i left mentari, stopped at the traffic light just before turning to federal. i spoke to mom for a while on the phone and when the car in front of me moved, i didn't have the time to cancel the call and the police caught me!! what the eff lor!! all they want is duit kopi anyways.
what stupid luck is that. just few hours before i left kl!! -_-"
holiday will definitely come to an end.. it's time to keep back in track with what i'm doing now.. melbourne's not that bad either. so come and visit me whenever you can! ciaosss!

february's love part 1
my 3 months in kl has finally ended... i just paid my fees for the next semester today. to think of it, i'm still stuck in the holiday mode and i'm definitely not prepared to change it yet. let's see what i've been up to in the past few days before the cny and cny as well.
the x-dest had their annual dinner at semenyih. big group, two tables.
after that we went to brussels... at... jaya -insert some number which i don't remember-
just a few days before cny, rachie and i went to macau.
bought my very first thomas sabo charm and a necklace. right now it's holding the heels i bought and the star jerine bought for me. :)
then we dropped by at the city of dreams for a while.
after dinner, we went to this place to watch their "tree show". it pops up every 30 minutes and people start throwing coins in. quite silly, they probably believe by throwing, it gives them luck to win in the casino. but the truth is, you're throwing more money away. tsk tsk.
second day, to macau tower. the 58th floor. there's one part where the tiles can be seen through, and standing on it makes me feel sick! apparently there is something similar in where i'm staying right now, but it's way higher. 89th or 90th floor was it, i'm not too sure. will talk about it if i ever go up just for it..
the famous macau church. i don't know what is the story behind it, but this is sort of the famous landmark in macau. everyone will take pictures here.. O_O
venetian again.. this time we come here for the famous cirque du soleil show.. friggin expensive. costs more than RM500 per person for 2 hours. it's good, but i personally feel it's overpriced.
here comes the cny reunion. this year it's a bit different, normally we go to yee poh's but because they cannot celebrate cny this year, so mom made the effort to cook. hence, reunion in my house!

invited the girls over! :) a gift that marks our friendship~
us again! :]
we normally don't eat meat on the first day of chinese new year.. for 12 hours. so there will be a big fat pot of "zai choi", prepared by aunt mayble. yumm.. only manage to grab a few bites. x_x
then it's the usual fireworks again. but this year's fireworks blew off the granite in front of the house. -_-

actually we were trying our best to do a big fat ass love, but we didn't make a perfect one.. distorted love! but rachie and my mini love looks perfect!! whatever la.. love!
then we had our mini "in between" session where i kena tiang. what the heck, Ace and King also kena Ace! there were two Aces and two Kings on the floor, what are the odds that i'll get the next Ace or King?!?!?!?! yes, i got the Ace. wtf.
nails i did at colour culture, pavilion for chinese new year. :)
cny day 1, the usual thing we do at the temple.
then lunch. again, it should be at yee poh's house, but not this year.
chinese new year tidbits.
house visiting : at hulu langat. it's a must for us to visit them every chinese new year. :)
then back to taman segar again for lion dance. my brother, lionel, is scared of the real lion dance despite the fact that he loves it so much. he can't stop hitting on the drum all the time at home, and it explains why he got the name lionel.

following day is the sis's birthday.
uncle william bought her dinner at harrods, klcc.
the events after the first day of cny would be gamble, gamble and more gamble sessions. that's like part of enjoying it since i only get to play "ngau", in between, 3 cards, blackjack only during cny. too bad, no poker this year... gamble session to be continued... in year 2011!! :)
