last but not least! hello to my family!in case you're wondering if i'm extremely bored, no i am not. my time is fully occupied with loads and loads of activities, but not very interesting ones because it's called assignments and more assignments which includes coding, report and analyzing! so tired of it already. i need to go shopping! i haven't shopped in ages! sigh. i'm guessing that i won't have anything interesting for the next 3 weeks, not until all assignments are completely done. more sleepless nights? yes. :(

simply insert something
on a very random note..
- i went to old town or old kopitiam, forgotten the name. the -not- malaysian kopitiam at swanston street 2 days ago, for lunch. i had a bad experience the last time i went there. i thought it will be better, after a few months. but then wtf, not only the service is bad, the food is TERRIBLE too! don't ever go to that shop. it's the one at swanston street, before lonsdale. next to mcd. i ordered "two roast combination", picked roast duck and crispy pork. i like duck breast, so i asked them for it, or else they'll serve bones instead. i don't like boney boney stuff! and the waiter said i'll have to pay extra if i want the breast! of course i won't pay la right, since it's not stated anywhere in the menu. so they gave in in the end, without charging extra, tee-hee. but then again, it sucks. don't know what kind of lousy roast duck is that =.= and the crispy pork is not even crispy!!! lousy food. i won't go back anymore. 2x horrible experience, more than enough. coconut house's "roast combination" is way better! and it's cheaper too, speaking of the value of money!
- i ordered some handmade stuff online. i bought 2 rings from jerine, sooooo pretty. i thought of searching for some other handmade stuff.. found a site, picked the stuff, checked out, taadaahhh! hope it'll arrive asap. anyways, some came in two, so i'll have extra.. i have no intention of earning from it but, i'm selling the extra rings! but because i'm so bloody lazy, i'm only selling to those in melbourne (city only!) or if anyone in malaysia is keen, you can buy it in advance and get it when i go back end of this year, or in january. i think i have about 10, and that's it!
- i'm still thinking whether i should go to the royal melbourne show or not. ends on the 27th, this coming sunday. i can only spare saturday. sigh!
- i think i'm abandoning this blog for an obvious reason, lazy. posts are getting lesser and lesser... sigh, what to do! towards the end of semester is equivalent to busy busy days. i can't wait to get back to malaysia lor. then i'll get to snap more yummy food pictures. unless i go around melbourne for food, which will only happen after the 11th november. ;]
- mom told me to tag along for lengris in november. but lengris means no sydney trip or susu's graduation at tasmania, or even thoughts of conquering gold coast once again. :O how how?
- 3 months from now, it's the end of being 21. me want forever 21. time passes extra fast when one's teenage life comes to an end. :(

new layout
almost done with the new layout of my site!
i know, i know it looks similar to my old one, but i'm still not done yet!
at least the old layout was copy-paste-modify, but i coded this all by myself using Notepad ++ D: took me a while, but at least i'm happy with the result!
still gotta modify here and there but i'm sleepy..
do leave comments on it, and i'll modify again later. tomorrow. or when i have a computer to photoshop..

her experience in the hospital
friday night, i was craving for korean food (again.. i know), and went to seoul house at russell street. the one reason that i like korean food is the side dish! they keep refilling everytime we finish it! of course, it's upon request.
saturday morning 4am, stomach very painful. sharp pain! it was my first time feeling that way. no way it's stomach cramp, cause it feels very different from the normal stomach cramp.. so i thought i'll be fine by the time i wake up..
but nooo.. i woke up around 7 in the morning, cause of the pain! i forced myself to get outta the house to go to the clinic at QV, around 9 in the morning. the "journey" to the clinic is an unforgettable one -.-".. i kept stopping, every few steps.. sigh whatever.
the doctor said my urine test is "clear", which i assume i don't have any problem? and he prescribed buscopan or panadeine. either or. i picked buscopan. the consultation fee is friggin 60+ aud! that's because i forgot my medibank card -.-" so i had to fork out the money.. but i was told that i can get 50% refund if i come back with the receipt and the card.
and so, i bought buscopan, ate it, went back to sleep again.. but the pain did not go away, and the doctor at medicare said i should go to the hospital if the medicine didn't help.
at 7.10pm, i took a cab to the royal women's hospital. and guess what? the bloody taxi driver used the longer route to reach the destination! AND HE THINKS I AM STUPID! he PASSED BY the hospital at fitzroy, and i could have gotten off and go to that one instead of the royal melbourne hospital. he could have just used elizabeth street in the first place...! he passed by city bath and went BACK to elizabeth street. and passed victoria market!!!!!!!!!!! !@#!#$!@$!!! anyhow i think he has some problems. first he turned on some allah song, and when he got bored of it, he changed to hallelujah. wtf?? i was not in a condition to scold that idiot, so i let it be, paid and left the taxi. ~:|
so, i went to the reception and they "pushed" me to the emergency section. and when was at the emergency section, they said i'm in the wrong emergency section, told me to go to the one at royal melbourne hospital. what the hell, i can barely walk and the stupid receptionist could have guided me. no wonder jerine said australia's system suck!
so at 8pm, i finally got myself registered, first urine test, and that's when the wait begins...
at 11pm, the doctor finally called me! she's an intern and her name is emma. very nice lady. :) the interns really reminded me of grey's anatomy. meredith grey!
the treatment starts at 11pm, i think i wasn't the only patient that she was treating. she asked me questions, and went off again for about 10-15 minutes? she said she'll bring panadeine.
she came back, led me to the other room, and told me that she'll have to do a blood test to find out what exactly is wrong. and she went off again, for quite a long time.
and a nurse came to do the blood test for me... my first ever blood test - and it sucks -.-" painful!

after removing the bandage... swollen!! the needle that she used was so friggin HUGE and she just kept poking everywhere -.-"and she failed to get my blood! she went off for a while again, actually i was left there to wait like for a very long time. emma finally came back, after a long time, and said she'll have to do the blood test or else they won't find out the cause of the pain -.-?
but i reminded her that she forgotten to bring me the panadeine. must be hell lot of patients out there? after panadeine and the 2nd urine test.. here comes the nightmare - blood test...

she used the smallest needle (even though it's still huge, but it's smaller compared to the other one) and she was way more professional than the nurse..
only a small tiny hole after removing the bandage. can barely see it right?after waiting for another hour, she came back and told me the blood test and urine test results did not show anything abnormal. so i don't exactly know what is wrong until now. she then told me to buy panadeine from the pharmacy tomorrow morning and if i'm still painful i'll have to go back to the hospital.
the panadeine.everything done by 3am. it could have gotten faster if the waitings were voided off. luls. and so i stayed at home since then. thanks bie for taking care of me, allowing me to command you here and there. it was so nice of him to buy me whatever i wanted to eat. from subway to porridge, and porridge from westlake, not chinabar. now that i have already gotten way too much of sleep, i'm having headache now. i can't sleep too much. yes, yes i am weird. but yea at least the pain is subsiding already. hopefully it'll be gone real soon. (it's almost gone now, so i guess mom and dad won't have to be so worried anymore. ;] )
lesson to learn : try not to get sick in australia, will die faster. (die waiting)

dinner @ coconut house, elizabeth st
ah, this time i brought the camera out. i mentioned in one of my posts that i did not bring it out.. anyways this is one restaurant that serves pretty good malaysian food. at least the curry mee looks like a curry mee and tastes like a curry mee! the curry mee at uni doesn't even look like one! fail.
anyways, there is one thing that i didn't like about this restaurant. i took a few pictures of their restaurant, that has their menu in it. cause i find it special, wanted to introduce to any malaysian friends. and guess what?!?! the waitress told me that i can't do that with the reason, "security purposes". what the hell? i'm sorry la, it's free advertisement and you're telling me security purposes? so you think i wanna rob your stupid menu? for fux sake, who doesn't know the typical malaysian food like chicken rice, nasi lemak, teh tarik, curry mee, etc. do i really need to COPY your bloody menu? and i don't even have a restaurant to begin with.
my first experience was in the restaurant at dubai, burj al arab restaurant which looks something like this. i was told by the waiter that cameras are not allowed in the restaurant. FINE. i understand, it's burj al arab.
second time was at london. i got pissed off. it was just some restaurant behind some street, hidden, and it's UNDERGROUND! what is this? going into some hut and i'm indirectly doing a free promo, and you complain that people might copy your design. copy food design? go dai la.
anyways, back to the coconut house. yea i just didn't like it when i was told to stop. i don't accept that lame ass excuse. taking pictures of menu = security reason. lame.
anyway let's just forget about it. back to the food!

i like the hainanese chicken with roasted pork! actually, i like the roasted pork more. i misssssssss the ones mummy buy from the market. one big FAT packet of juicy and sweet roasted pork! woah, FAT!

merdeka @ cq bar
ahhhh! finally i can start posting again!
warning : RANT BEFORE PICTURES.

all because of assignments and assignments! finally submitted everything for the week! it was wda assignment that i was working on for the past few days... yallara (unix server) keeps going on and off, which caused a lot of problems for us, won't go on about the problems. it was then extended from monday 11.59pm to wednesday, which is today, 12pm. AND SO, i only got my beauty sleep after submitting the assignment at 11.30am! and to make things worst, i did not finish all the requirements T_T. i was forced to create a twitter account to "share my link on twitter" (and facebook, but facebook isn't a problem cause i have a fb account). i manage to share the results on facebook but not twitter! and then i gave up and went on doing the session instead. of course, i didn't complete, only left it dangling halfway! LOL. :3
but i don't care lah, submit and get my beauty sleep. wtf. you can see my awful piece of work here (it's not meant to be pretty, it's the functionality. :3) :( --> final ..but of course i didn't like my final work, suck big time. the one without the session looks better ^^. but can't share this one facebook cause it's included in the final only. thanks to everyone who helped me! you know who you are, and i'm including you guys for the mini-steamboat once both tl and kelvin submits their assignment!
