queen victoria night market

according to lawrence there is a night market on every wednesday so long as it's summer. today's the last day of the night market so i've decided to check it out.

back in kl, satays are like RM0.60 each, but over here it's almost 6.50 aud per stick? if i didn't read wrongly. with 6.50 aud i can eat more than 20 sticks of kajang satay =.=

the busy man and his satay

i begin to feel life in melbourne is so dull. i miss malaysia's night market. lok lok, asam laksa, fried sotong, fried chicken, bla bla bla..

lemonade. so friggin expensive. nigel and lawrence got themselves the normal lemonade and i bought the lemonade slushie. wth, 6 friggin aud for 1 cup of slushie. somemore not nice. what the hell! to think of it, i can buy more than 10 cups of mata kucing's already.

long queue though

some stall

some stage

this market kind of reminded of me of the IU day in high school. where the interact club members had to prepare the food, cultural dances, information of a particular country. in this night market, there are so many different food from different countries. spanish food, turkish food, nougats, chinese fried noodles, mauritius food, african food, dutch pancakes, ahh, too many already. did i not mention there was even a performance of the zimbabwe music or whatsoever. sorry but i think i don't like the music and it's terrible.

see, so many people

the hanging dolls. they'll laugh like evil old witches once they hear claps.. and lawrence kept activating them -.-

feng shui by angmo. their feng shui = tarot cards

this gwailou was trying to selling chinese stuff to us chinese. what the heck!

some souvenirs

nigel's evil face

there was this booth where people are painting. this guy paint like a kindergarden kid omg

she can paint better than the other guy.

i bought sour ribbons..

i took a tram back all the way from victoria market down to flinders...

took a few pictures while walking back..

the bridge..
