penang day 1!

the computing students went for a makan-only trip at penang. i proudly announce that i've finally driven out of selangor for the first time in my life. well actually kelvin drove first and then i took over when we were on the highway. straight all the way, damn easy. i drove until ipoh, somewhere by some rest stop and carl hopped on. carl used to study here in penang many years back, and we thought he could be our live-gps. we kind of got lost finding the way to sri sayang.

after checking in, we headed to some nearby shop to eat. so hungry.

it's all about hokkien in penang. sorry la, i'm hakka girl, don't understand hokkien. sigh!

we went to some random food court for dinner. kelvin cannot tahan until gurney drive so he just turned in for food :x. all of them had char kueh teow except me.

we went to gurney plaza for a movie after that.

and then to gurney drive for supper after movie.

they ate like, countless bowls of curry mee. i on the other hand who doesn't like curry mee, went for assam laksa. soooo nice!

the mc tucky smells so good and we couldn't resist it anymore. we packed chicken skin, chicken meat, mantis prawn, sotong and tofu.
